Our PlayGroup program is designed as an extension of home. As little ones come away from the familiarity of known surroundings and the nurture of loved ones, we let them settle into a rhythm of comfort, laying the path for exciting discoveries surrounding them with every stimulation they need to jumpstart their journey.
At Happy Childhood, we understand that young children grow and learn the most when they receive undivided attention and the right stimulation. We maintain a low child-adult ratio and provide little ones with more child-friendly space, activities, sensory materials, toys and food to explore with their senses and whole body.
Along the way, children develop at their own pace, into happy, secure little explorers picking up practical concepts through age-appropriate learning aids and innovative play ‘n’ learn programs.
Nursery
Age – 2 years 5 months onwards
Timings – 9:30am to 1:00pm
Our Nursery Program lays the foundation for all the key skills desirable for an early learner. As these young children are new to learning, we will be focusing on developing and preparing
them for everything they are going to encounter in the school, e.g. following a common routine, communicating in a large group, paying attention for a longer span, eating on their
own, making friends, managing their emotions, looking after their bodily needs, their belongings, dealing with strangers, etc.
Children are taught pre-writing, pre-reading, pre-math, science and social skills in a logical sequence, encouraging the little ones to learn one step at a time.
A well-planned curriculum spanning monthly thematic programs, specific weekly topics and daily learning schedules keep the child focused on academic learning through explorations.
Kindergarten
Junior KG

Senior KG

The transition from preschool to primary school is a crucial time of change for both children as well as their parents. Our Kindergarten (K.G.) curriculum ensures smooth transition to formal schooling with meaningful and progressive learning experiences.
Our curriculum gives importance to both spoken English development and literacy enhancement. The development of children’s reading and speaking skills is done via phonics,
picture talk and conversations, blending sounds, introducing new sight words, book reading and vocabulary enhancement. By the end of their Kindergarten, we can expect the child to read simple sentences, small paragraphs, pronounce phonic sounds clearly and speak confidently in English language. Coming to Math, we will be focusing on comprehending numbers, fundamental arithmetic, number sense, operating skills with numbers and computation.
At Happy Childhood, learning is supported by drawing, coloring, craft works, games, music amazing facts, stories, field activities, group discussions, fun discussions, practical experiments, hands-on activities and so on. Furthermore, each child’s development is measured thrice in an Academic year through well designed summative assessments to ensure his/her progress.
In addition to Academical activities, Kindergarten children are also introduced to various extracurricular activities like Yoga, Taekwondo, Sports and Abacus taught by professionals in a
planned manner as part of the program.
Day Care
● Age – 18 months onwards to 8 years
● Timings – 8:00am to 7:00pm
Happy Childhood Preschool offers a safe, comfortable and fun filled Day care program with many extracurricular activities and outdoor play. Our Daycare program includes preschool, meals, nap time, snacks and evening activities. Learning is a dynamic process which occurs throughout the day, thus our Daycare program has been designed such that the child is constructively engaged and involved in different explorations before returning to their parents.
