Parents are requested to download the “App” used by school for regular communication. All
the information regarding classroom activities, homework and photos will be updated on the App on all school days. Timely updates/circulars are sent regarding special activities, upcoming events, field trips and important reminders. Similarly, if parents want to convey anything to the school, they can call/text to school number or post message on the App.
School will provide healthy and nutritionally good food/snacks (variety of dry snacks, cooked food, dry fruits, fresh fruits and veggies) every day from 11:00am to 11:30am for all the
children. For Daycare children, we provide lunch at 1:00pm and evening snacks at 4:00pm. We
will be sharing the weekly food menu in advance, so that the school and parents can make necessary adjustments. We request the parents to send labeled water bottles from home. Parents can also send home food/additional snacks and our staff will ensure to feed items sent by parents along with snacks provided by school.
No extra charges for food/snacks.
At Happy Childhood, we understand that young children grow and learn the most when they
receive undivided attention and the right stimulation. We maintain 1:6 adult-child ratios and ensure every child gets the attention and care he/she needs.
Yes, we do have uniform for all the grades. This uniform will be a part of student kit given at the
time of admission. Children must come in school uniform from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, children can come in color dress. We may request children to come in particular dress code for some occasions and celebrations. Uniform at school not only provides a sense of togetherness
and equality among children but also gives them a neat and a well groomed look.
School will conduct regular assessments throughout the Academic year. The assessment topics
and dates will be informed to the parents a few days in advance. These assessments are
conducted to register the child's learning and are not subjected to any ratings. The teachers will provide Evaluation report at PTM on various learning parameters based on the observation
done in the class.
Children should always carry current month's unit book in their bag. They can carry a cloth
napkin and water bottle in the same bag. No need to bring any kind of stationery items, as school will provide all items that the child needs at school.
It’s not an issue if your child is not potty-trained yet. We understand that children of same age have different stages of the potty-trained spectrum and we will work closely with families to find the most successful plan. However, we urge the same plan is implemented at the home as well.
Every child deserves to spend their day in harmony, learning and experiencing play in a safe
environment. Treating each child with kindness and compassion is our main house rule. As we
are aware, kids will be kids! Learning how to treat themselves, each other and things are all a
part of growing up. We do not have a one-size fit discipline policy because each situation is
unique and every child is motivated by different feelings. When discipline is necessary, we will
follow our house rules and will guide the child’s behavior based on understanding the individual
needs and stage of development. Modeling appropriate and mature behavior is the key. If an
unproductive behavior becomes a consistent issue or is harmful to other children, parents will
be notified, and an action plan will be discussed.
If a child appears too ill to be cared for at the school as noticed by a staff member at the time of arrival or at any time during the session a parent or concerned person will be notified
immediately and asked to come to pick him/her up at the earliest. The ill child will be comforted in a quiet place until parents arrive.
The School is under CCTV cameras surveillance, which is being used to provide surveillance and
to monitor and keep track of all the activities that take place inside the school premises. Should
any parent feel the need to watch their kids without them knowing during the initial settling in days, they are welcome to the office room to view the feed with prior appointment. Due to privacy concerns, we are not providing parents with ‘live feed’ access.
Fees once paid are not refundable. Certain exceptions may be permitted based upon the
situation. This will be at the discretion of the school management.
