Our School Environment

Our school environment is created solely for the young children. Every single thing is made with the child in mind. We have created wholesome outdoor and indoor ambience to allow the children to sense and feel the objects and develop an understanding of basic learning skills as well as many practical life skills. Happy childhood Preschool accepts children from age 18 months to 6 years.

Fun & Learn programme
  • From Age 3 to 6 years
  • Timings: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
  • From: Monday to Friday

This program will introduce young children to many learning concepts, while also being a lot of fun by engaging children in outdoor and indoor activities for one hour each. Outdoor activities include free play at different play stations and Physical exercises. Indoors, children are engaged in variety of activities like Art & Craft, Virtue classes, Communication & Conversations, Indoor games, Storytelling, Book reading, playing with toys, Montessori workshop etc.

Day care Programme

Happy childhood preschool offers a safe, comfortable and fun filled Day care program with many co-curricular activities and outdoor play. Daycare service is available from 8:00am to 7:00pm.

Age: From 1 year to 9 years.



Our school provides an Educational program of excellence in association with Academy publiisher. The learning method in Academy curriculum is completely unique and is a patented method by Academy publiisher. This is an integrated curriculum adopting best teaching techniques from Montessori, Nursery and Kindergarten learning methods. The learning is also aided by many 21st century teaching techniques like play labs, enquiry based learning, multiple intelligence enforcement, STEAM method and many more. Our curriculum focuses on paying attention to each and every child, monitoring their progress individually and helping them with instructions in moving forward. We do flash card activities for all concepts and subjects introduced, to make young minds understand properly via practical methods.

Academy curriculum is conceptualized with two curves, the Learning and the Working curve. The main aim of Learning curve is to ensure Holistic development of the little ones through various concepts and activities like prayer, shlokas, songs, sanskars, games, stories, celebrations, life skills etc. Working curve consists of main learning domains like English language, Math, EVS and Second language (Kannada/Hindi) which are very necessary for future Academics.

Integration of Montessori Method

Montessori is a method of education developed by a Italian educationist Dr.Maria Montessori and is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. We follow authentic Montessori Method in our curriculum and we use all the pure Montessori materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori to develop the following skills in the children:

Integration of Multiple Intelligence

We all have some skills that come more naturally than others. Integration of Blooms Taxonomy & Theme based approach

“Bloom’s Taxonomy” is one of those terms that play a vital role in designing the curriculum and an important tool used by teachers for day-to-day working and interactions with the child. It is a central concept which works in conjunction with learning activities to help your child expand their critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills allow a child to thinking independently, solve problems, evaluate alternatives, and reflect on their own beliefs.

Theme Based Approach

Thematic approach is a way of teaching and learning, whereby many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme. Using themes while working with young children has been popular since John Dewey, an American philosopher, psychologist and educational reformer first proposed that curriculum should be related to real-life experiences.

Importance of Play ?

Play is an essential part of early learning process. Play is the way children discover themselves-starting with their fingers and toes and gradually including their whole body, their emotions and their minds. For children, play is serious learning and helps their brain grow while also being a lot of fun. At Happy Childhood, children will spend their last half an hour in outdoor play. Each day of the week, children are engaged in different play areas.
